Design Services:

Q:  What design software do you use?
A:  We use SolidWorks for mechanical design  

Q:  What file types are provided at the completion of a design project?
A:  We provide PDF files (DXF available upon request) for 2D assembly and manufacturing drawings, and STEP or IGES for 3D files.  

Q:  What thermal analysis software is used?
A:  We use EFD.Lab (Flomerics) for CFD (computational fluid dynamics) analysis, and Algor for FEA (finite element analysis).    

Wedgelocks:

Q:  Can you provide an alternative to a Calmark wedgelock?
A:  Yes, we are currently crossing the Calmark 225, 230, 240, 260, 265, and 280 Series, with plans to expand to further additional series.  

Q:  Are the Calmark designs still under patent?
A:  No, the various series that we have chosen to offer alternatives to, do not have any current patents.  

Q:  What is you lead time for wedgelocks?
A:  We are typically able to provide wedgelocks within a 4-6 week lead-time.
